Rates & Insurance

Payment: I accept cash, debit, and credit cards, and payment is due at the time of each service.

Insurance: A Superbill/Statement is available to clients with PPO insurance plans that enable them to go out of their network. Please understand that if you choose to use your insurance for therapy services, a mental health diagnosis is required. This, unfortunately, will be part of your permanent health record which could ultimately result in rate increases for life and other insurance policies and is seen as a risk liability to certain employers. Private pay eliminates the need for a diagnosis.

Rates and Payment: Entering therapy requires you make a commitment of time, energy, and money. While I have a standard fee, I prefer to discuss that in person when you contact me. As stated, sessions are typically 50 minutes, and most clients see me weekly. However, we may decide to increase or decrease the frequency of sessions depending on your unique situation and needs. Fee session amounts are agreed upon prior to the initial appointment. All payments are made at the end of each session unless otherwise arranged.

Reduced Fee: I appreciate that one of the main obstacles to receiving therapy or counseling services can often be financial. Based on your situation, a reduced fee may be available (also referred to as a sliding scale).

Cancellation Policy: Your appointment time is reserved just for you. If you cannot come to your appointment, we can often schedule someone else who needs to get in on an urgent basis. If you cancel an appointment within 24 hours you will not be charged. However, if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice you will be charged the full fee for the session. Illness and emergencies are dealt with on an individual basis.
